i have to agree, mohammad has got to be number 1 for the boys. im not sure about the girls. there aren't many prominent women in islam or confusianism (the 2 most popular and followed religions in the world) and since most names within a culture derive from that culture's "sacred scripture", its a bit hard to think of a name. beats me.
What is the world's most popular first name?
Someone said sometime it was Mohammed, but I don't have a source to prove it. I would also bet on a very popular chinese name, maybe the chinese equivalent to John or something.
